I've been painting for as long as I can remember.  I lived in France for a spell and binged on all the wonderful art museums and visited places where my favourite group of painters, the Impressionists, lived and found their inspiration. It also inspired me to start using oils within my paintings.

More recently I've dabbled with very unforgiving ink on watercolour paper.  I have enjoyed the challenge of representing something quickly and use minimal strokes to capture the subject.  Take a look at some of my 'mutt shots', they are always fun to paint.
